4-H fun!

Yesterday, I was one of two judges for an annual 4-H contest. I was a "Fashion Revue" judge. Here's just a tad of areas we had to critique the models on....Oh, before I proceed, in 4-H, the youth are not judged nor competing AGAINST EACH OTHER, but themselves (if that makes sense).

A few categories were: The Model, Construction, and Commentary

Depending upon the score, each person receives a certain color ribbon: blue, red, or white.

Things have changed!

Hi Guys and Gals. Too tired and just chilling right now. :-). Remember this post: Are You Watching? posted last month?

Well, things have changed. We won't go into a lot of details here (and trying to be positive), BUT, for numerous reasons, I'm down to two PR "Under The Gunn" favs:

As the Food Lion commercial says "That's just my two cents!"

This may still come in handy!

Made a polar fleece scarf at this month's ASG meeting (this was a group pic, but I cropped others out). It's still technically winter and this may come in handy as we're expecting more snow tomorrow :-)
Oh, BTW: this was my second zipper (lots of help because it was long AND my fleece was very thick)

My skirt: 12 months of handmade skirts

You may recall: I took the plunge about two weeks ago and was suppose to have my first skirt done by the end of February (Friday past). Better late than never--but then again, I came on board in the middle of the challenge.

So my skirt is posted below. I also made a belt and a (hopefully) tie around head band. Still having to use phone camera so one picture may not rotate properly (even though I rotated and saved it).

Now that we're into March, I'll be working on my next skirt soon. :-)

Remember "In The Works"post on (2/16)?

Finally finished it today! Could have finished it in one sitting, but took my time and used today's snow day.

Sorry I can't model it and the picture doesn't give it much justice. Learned alot !
